Poland — Soundport Project

A 28-minute instrumental journey across Poland in one continuous arc, from the wild Górale highland fiddle of Zakopane to the lyrical Kuyavian folk of Toruń. No vocals; pure instrumental storytelling.

Each track is composed from the music of its place: the wild highland fiddle and Tatra wind of Zakopane, the Górale capital; the festive mazurka and folk-jazz of old-capital Kraków around the Rynek square; the cosmopolitan midnight jazz of Warsaw, Chopin's home region and a jazz capital; the bittersweet klezmer-and-folk overlap of Lublin on the eastern borderlands; the restless experimental alt-music of Wrocław, the Silesian city of bridges and islands; and the maritime, amber-city resilience of Hanseatic Gdańsk on the Baltic.
