Iceland — Soundport Project

A 56-minute instrumental journey clockwise around Iceland — 12 places, one continuous arc from Reykjavík's quiet capital pulse to the volcanic island stillness of Vestmannaeyjar.

Each track draws on the music and landscape of its place: bowed pads in the spirit of Sigur Rós for the capital; glass harmonica shimmer for the Westfjords solitude of Ísafjörður; the pipe organ of Akureyrarkirkja warming the fjord at Akureyri; a langspil drone laid over the geothermal mineral hum of Mývatn. No vocals — pure instrumental storytelling from synthesizers, traditional Icelandic instruments, and field-textured ambient.
