Georgia — Soundport Project

A 42-minute instrumental journey across Georgia — 10 cities in one continuous arc, from the sulphur-bath polyphony of Tbilisi to the vineyard drone-bass of Telavi. No vocals; pure instrumental storytelling.

Each track is composed from the music of its place: the sulphur-warm polyphony and Bassiani techno pulse of capital Tbilisi; the cathedral-vaulted sacred modes of ancient royal Mtskheta; the archaic changi harp and stone-tower polyphony of Svaneti's Mestia and the snowbound, near-mythic heights of Ushguli, the highest village in Europe; the wine-table drone-bass of Kakheti's "City of Love", Sighnaghi; and the Adjarian chiboni bagpipe of Black Sea boomtown Batumi.
