Denmark — Soundport Project

A 38-minute instrumental journey across Denmark — ten cities in one continuous arc, from the cool-jazz warmth of Copenhagen to the fairy-tale chamber of Odense. No vocals; pure instrumental storytelling.

Each track is composed from the music of its place: the Danish-radio cool-jazz and saxophone hush of Copenhagen; the painters'-light harmonika and Jutland fiddle of Skagen at the northern tip; the early-music pipe-organ revival of Roskilde's ancient Lutheran cathedral; the distinct Bornholmer fiddle of the Baltic island and its smoked-herring villages; the Renaissance fanfare brass of Kronborg castle at Helsingør; and the Hans Christian Andersen fairy-tale chamber and Funen folk fiddle of Odense.
