Austria — Soundport Project

A 34-minute instrumental journey across Austria — 7 cities in one continuous arc, from the imperial waltz of Vienna to the Bruckner-meets-electronic dusk of Linz. No vocals; pure instrumental storytelling.

Each track is composed from the music of its place: the Viennese waltz and Schrammelmusik of the classical capital; the Mozartean grace and Alpine folk of festival Salzburg; the alphorn calls, yodel-leaps and mountain brass of Tyrolean Innsbruck; the lakeside opera and Alemannic strings of Bregenz on Lake Constance; the courtly string quartets of Haydn's Esterházy palace at Eisenstadt; and the modal jazz of Graz, Austria's creative capital.
