Argentina — Soundport Project

A 36-minute instrumental journey across Argentina in one continuous arc, from the bandoneón twilight of Buenos Aires to the river-port rock of Rosario. No vocals; pure instrumental storytelling.

Each track is composed from the music of its place: the tango-noir bandoneón of San Telmo and La Boca in Buenos Aires; the canyon-shadowed zamba and ancient baguala of Salta; the riverine chamamé and Guaraní-infused harp of Corrientes on the Litoral; the stomping, fire-dance chacarera that was cradled in Santiago del Estero; the working-class cuarteto of Córdoba; and the profound, protest-capable zamba of Tucumán, birthplace of Mercedes Sosa.
